LAUREL AVENUE
Who we are
Laurel Avenue Community Association was established in 1985 following the development of shared use community facilities on the premises of Laurel Avenue Community Primary School.
The shared use aspect of the centre affords many advantages to the association both in terms of facilities and opportunities. Our strong partnership with school allows activities and services to be sustainable and successful and the community benefit with access to a broader range of projects, increasing community support and participation.

ABOUT US
The Story of LACA

I am proud to be the manager of such a warm, welcoming special place that is Laurel Avenue Community Association...

Claire Linfoot, Manager.

The Centre exists to improve the quality of life for local people by offering activities and services which provide a range of educational, recreational, cultural, social opportunities and engagement. It is a place people from diverse backgrounds come to socialise, learn, engage, and enjoy.
We work in consultation and partnership with the community and statutory and voluntary agencies in developing our programme and responding to emerging needs. We are fully committed to supporting the community in participation and encourage decision making processes.
We welcome any new members to get involved and contribute to help us improve our services.
